The room was quite spacious and very clean, with comfy beds that made for a good night's sleep. The private bathroom was a nice perk, and the heating was easy to adjust, which was perfect for our stay in October. Plus, having a coffee machine in the room was a sweet touch. Overall, it was basic but met all our needs perfectly for our family trip.

Oh boy, the freshly baked European bread at the nearby Kaldilaekur was a culinary delight! You can enjoy it at the picnic area which adds a cozy touch to your meal. Plus, the hosts were super welcoming and made our stay even more enjoyable.
The kitchen was a bit cramped, all the cooking essentials were crammed into one corner, making it tricky for more than one chef at a time. And while the dorm had no blackout curtains, the light let the day shine in beautifully.

Immaculately Clean and Spacious
I was pleasantly surprised by the interior of the guesthouse. it felt welcoming and spacious compared to its exterior. The communal kitchen was exceptionally well-stocked, making it easy to prepare meals, and every corner of the guesthouse was spotless. Our room was clean and spacious, with comfortable beds and easy-to-manage heating for a cool night’s sleep. One downside was the lack of locks on the shared showers, which could be an issue in peak season.

Couple getaway worth it
We stayed one night in a ground floor apartment with a private bathroom. Found it to be spotless and really quiet, allowing us to just unwind. Free parking on site was a big plus! The kitchen was equipped well enough for us to prepare meals, and it was nice to have a cozy communal area to relax in after the day.
It certainly wasn't cheap but you get what you pay for.

We loved staying here with our grandkids! The kitchen was well-equipped and clean, perfect for family meals. Close to Snaefellsjoekull Park, we had fun exploring the stunning landscapes. The beach view was a big hit with everyone!
My wife says that adding more kid-friendly activities would enhance the experience.
